Obituary Jeffrey "Jeff" Rosenow

effrey "Jeff" Rosenow, age 66, of Mountain,WI, passed away on Sunday May 21, 2023, after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born on April 9, 1957, to the late Ervin and Mary Lee (Biese) Rosenow in Kaukauna, WI. He graduated from Menasha High School in 1975. After several years of working as a claims adjuster, Jeff retired from Secura Insurance Companies in 2019. He was united in marriage to Val Rohloff on March 12, 1999, in Appleton, WI. Jeff was an avid outdoorsman with a love of hunting, boating and fishing. Although many times you could just find him out in the woods enjoying God's beauty. He was a talented and innovative craftsman in many different trades.
Jeff is survived by: his wife of 24 years, Val Rosenow; his children Kerry (Pat) Peterson, of Kaukauna, Valerie (Chad) Harris, of Kaukauna, and Dan Rosenow, of Appleton; his three step-children Jennifer Fletcher, of Appleton, Scott (Amanda) Fletcher, of Little Chute, and Amy (Kurt) Cordova, of Tomahawk; his grandchildren Jalen, Dominic, Harlow and Hudson; his siblings David (JoAnn) Rosenow, of Racine, Debra (Tom) Subert, of Winneconne, and Faye (Rick) Regenfuss, of Waynesville, NC. He is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ervin and Mary Lee Rosenow.
His family will have a private celebration of life. Swedberg Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (Givenow.lls.org) or Unity Hospice in Jeff's name.
We would like to extend a debt of gratitude to the AMAZING nurses, doctors, and Oncology staff at St. Elizabeth in Appleton, WI. All those on the 4th floor at St. E's have heard many a story from Jeff over his countless stays during his treatment. The family would also like to thank Froedtert Hospital, Froedtert Eye Institute, and Unity Hospice. Jeff really had a way of touching people with his down-to-earth nature. The dedicated staff loved Jeff and went above and beyond expectations to make he and Val feel cared for. We know they all share in our sadness today. We are eternally grateful for their care and compassion.
