Virginia A. “Ginny” Kihl, age 57, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 28, 2023. She was born on June 23, 1965, daughter of the late Jerry and Bernice (Berken) Bruecker.

Ginny married Kevin Kihl on May 11, 1991. She worked at Thilmany in Kaukauna for 35 years until she retired in January of 2022. Ginny was the life of the party and always had a joke or smart comment to make everyone laugh. She was a devoted mother, supporting her children at their many sporting events, dance recitals, and more. Ginny enjoyed spending time outside, walking her dog, Frankie, and taking long bike rides. She loved to soak up the sun on her deck, whether she was listening to music or having a drink with one of her many visitors. Ginny took many camping trips with family and friends that spanned across 25 years at campgrounds such as Evergreen, Vista Royalle, Peninsula State Park, and more. In her more recent years, her travel included Alabama, Florida, New York, and Tennessee. Most of all, she always looked forward to her yearly international vacations where she could escape the Wisconsin cold with family and friends at destinations including Mexico, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and more.

Ginny is survived by her husband, Kevin; children: Sam, Eli and Jenna Kihl; brothers: Dan “Boogs” (Joan), Chuck (Jodi) and Tim (Cindy) Bruecker; brothers and sisters-in-law: Mike (Veronica) Kihl, Steve (Caryn) Kihl and Lisa (Scott) Fruend; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends. Ginny was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Bernice Bruecker and her father and mother-in-law, Claude and Sandy Kihl.
