Kaukauna - Peggy (Clark) Wildenberg, born July 23, 1926 passed away peacefully one day after her 95th birthday on July 24, 2021. Her only wish, to make her 95th and what a wonderful birthday it was. She was so happy surrounded by all the people who loved her and were able to tell her just how much she meant to us.

Peggy was born in Oak Park Illinois to Frank and Eleanor (Ferdon) Clark. She moved to Wisconsin in 1943. Graduated from St. John's High School in 1944 where she met and married her Dutchman, Merin Wildenberg. They married on Oct. 28, 1946 and had six wonderful children.

Joe (deceased) & Leanne Wildenberg, Mike & Gina Wildenberg, Sue & Merl Mantei, Kater & Steve Gaffney, Mark & Nancy Wildenberg and Carrie Bevers. Many special memories were shared with all her beautiful grandchildren, great grandchildren, and some great-great grandchildren.

Peggy was very talented, but her greatest talent was listening. She would stop everything, sit with you, and spend as much time as you needed to talk without judgement.

Peggy was clever, wise, and funny. She loved to read; she was a great singer. Her mind never stopped thinking and wondering. She asked me before she passed "How will the world survive without me in it?"

It will never be the same, mom, but your loving spirit will reside within us all, forever.

Our family is so grateful for the care and love all the staff at St Paul's provided her during her 5 odd years there. It was her home and you all were her second family. Our deepest thanks to all of you.

Rather than a funeral, there will be private celebration of her life (TBD).
