Roland R. Runnoe, Combined Locks, age 88, took Jesus’s hand and was welcomed into God’s loving arms on Friday, July 8, 2022. Roland was born on August 26, 1933 to the late Herbert and Ellen (Sullivan) Runnoe. He was married to the love of his life, Jane (Gossen) Runnoe, for over 54 years. Roland enjoyed spending time with his family, picnicking, caring for his lawn, going camping, going out to eat, and babysitting his grand-dog, Chico. He was devoted to St. Paul’s Catholic Church and enjoyed saying the rosary often.

Roland is survived by his 5 children: Deb Runnoe, Sandy (Gary) Wittman, Keith (Jenny) Runnoe, Jeff (Debbie) Runnoe, and Dale Runnoe; 9 grandchildren: Julianne, Brian, Shari, Kevin, Katie, Blake, David, Ben, and Mary; 4 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters: Vonnie and Arlene.

In addition to his parents, Roland was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jane; 6 siblings; and 4 brothers and sisters in law.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 4 pm on Monday, July 11, 2022 at St. Paul Catholic Church (410 E. Wallace Street, Combined Locks). Friends will be received directly at church on Monday from 2 pm until the time of service. Verkuilen- Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home is assisting the family.

The family would like to give special thanks to Country Villa of Little Chute Memory Care as well as Moments Hospice for the great care and compassion they provided.
