George C. Jansen, 58, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 29, 2023. George was born on September 4, 1964 to Carl and Janice (Verkuilen) Jansen. George worked at EZ Glide as a Service Tech installing and servicing garage doors for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing and gardening around his house. In the summer he liked camping with his family and antiquing with his sister Darlene. George also liked to watch any type of racing and taking his dog Sassy for truck rides.
George is survived by his mom Janice Jansen, siblings; Tom (Robin) Jansen, Pam (Joe) Fritz and Darlene (special Friend Patrick Mickey) Spreeman, his best friend Todd, nieces and nephews; Jessica (Dustin) Boushley, Michelle (Zac) Schumacher, Kelly (fiancée Nick Effa) Fritz, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his Father Carl and nephew Jeremy Jansen.
The memorial service for George will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at Verkuilen Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal St., Little Chute.
