Jean Elizabeth Reinke
1938 - 2024 (85 years)
Jean Elizabeth Neubauer age 85 of Neenah passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 2, 2024. Jean was born on September 30, 1938 in Mackville, WI daughter of the late George and Antoinette (Coenen) Reinke. She graduated from Appleton High School in 1956. Jean married Richard Neubauer on May 11, 1963 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Appleton. Her children and grandchildren were her first priorities and she enjoyed caring for them for many years.
Jean is survived by her children Sara (Brien) Ratchman and Andrew Neubauer; her grandchildren Luke and Jacob Neubauer and Nathan, Matthew and Tessa Jean Ratchman as well as two great-grandchildren Jace and Owen Neubauer. She is further survived by a sister Mary (Melvin) Schmidt and brothers Jim (Sue) Reinke and Robert Reinke. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard; siblings, George Jr., her twin sister Joann Schmidt, Alice Schultz, Carol Bunnell, Jerome Reinke, infant sister Ruth Ann, brothers-in-law, Herman Schultz, Mike Bunnell, John Schmidt and a sister-in-law Pat Reinke.
The family would like to thank Joanie, Jill, Kathy and Joanne for years of cherished friendship as well as Niki, Cara and Hannah for their caring and compassion throughtout Mom's final journey.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday January 10, 2024 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church 900 Geiger St., Neenah with Fr. Larry Seidl officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Kessler-Fahrenkrug Funeral Home is assisting the family.
