Todd Joseph Van Harpen - Age 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 23, 2023. He was born March 26, 1948, to the late Roy and Vi Van Harpen, in Menasha. He and his loving wife, Louise (Reynebeau), were joined in marriage May 29, 1971.
Todd was awarded the Bronze Star with Valor in the Vietnam War while serving in the Army. Todd was a skilled printer, starting in high school, continuing in the war, and starting two businesses, Classic Printing, Menasha, and later Pioneer Press, Kaukauna, which was in business for 40 years.
Todd was a member of the Holy Cross Athletic Association for 25 years, spending countless hours at the Holy Cross Men’s Open and selling and delivering Christmas trees. He also loved perch fishing with his family and friends on the Mississippi River. His biggest passion was spending time with his family. He loved his four kids and 13 grandkids. He never missed any of his kids’ events and loved spoiling his grandkids.
Todd is survived by his wife: Louise; his children and precious grandchildren: Wendy (Andy) King and their children: Taylor, Keegan, Charlee, and Peyton; Roy (Erin) Van Harpen and their children: Lexi, Raya, and Brock; Becky (Matt) Vanden Avond and their children: Joe, Will and Tom; and Mandie (Tim) Wilson and their children: Graham, Henry, and Amelia. He is also survived by siblings: Tim (Mary) Van Harpen, Mary K. Knox, and Jon Van Harpen; mother-in-law: Lucille Reynebeau (Grandma Jo); and brothers and sisters-in-law: Shirley Van Harpen, Jessie (Steve) Hietpas, Matt Reynebeau, Tom Reynebeau, Lee (Lisa) Reynebeau, and Mary Sanders; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Todd is preceded in death by his parents: Roy and Vi Van Harpen; his brother: Gary Van Harpen; and father-in-law: Joe Reynebeau. The funeral Mass was held April 29 at Holy Cross Parish, Kaukauna, with the Rev. Thomas Reynebeau officiating. Military honors, conducted by the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post 258, immediately followed. Committal Holy Cross Cemetery.
