Odd Fellows EulogiesBy Oliver Wiberg Having worked and associated with Brother Trogan for 25 years, I consider it a privilege an d an honor to read his eulogy. It was in 1930 that I first worked with John Trogan at the Central Baking Company and later i n 1941 we were both working for August Hedlof at the Quality Bakery. He worked for the Qualit y Bakery as long as his health would permit until the time of his death. All the years that I worked with John he was always a good and hard worker, so with those cha racteristics, its no wonder that he was a good father and a good husband. John Trogan was bor n in Ashland on June 18, 1905 and attended local schools. On September 17, 1932 he was marrie d to Marjorie Kerkhoff in Minneapolis. He had been a baker for the last 30 years. He passed a way on the morning of August 20, 1954, and is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Ger ald (Mary Ellen) Lewis, and one son John Jr. all of Ashland; one brother, Arthur and tree sis ters. Also surviving are two grandchildren. It is hard when a friend passes on., but I feel grateful and proud to have known a man like B rother John Trogan!
