- Billie Jean BAUMANN, age 58, of Westfield, WI, died May 17, 2001 at St. Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point. She was born September 18, 1941 in Riverside, IL, to Lyle and Georgia (HUBER) TORRENCE. She married Karl L. PULS on Nov 21, 1959 in Melrose Park, IL, and the couple moved to Westfield WI in 1986 after several years' residence at Palatine, IL. Lyle preceded her in death June 23, 1988. She then married Raymond J. BAUMANN July 28, 1990 in Westfield.
She operated Billie's Restaurant, the Edgewater Tavern, and worked as a cook/bartender at the Sundown Saloon, all of Westfield. Most recently she had been employed by Allied Power's Westfield plant until illness forced her retirement.
She is survived by her husband, Ray; her mother, Georgia GAGNATH; two sons, Richard PULS, and Brain PULS; one daughter, Lisa (Ken) JOHNSON; one granddaughter; five step-children, Joe and Tom BAUMANN, Karen (Jeff) GILAYNI, Steven (Rose) BAUMANN and Robert (Loretta) BAUMANN; two step-grandsons, John and Matthew BAUMANN. In addition to her first husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband and a step-brother.
Memorial services were held at Steinhaus Funeral Home, Westfield, Saturday May 22. Rev. Steven Kaszar officiated.
