    • Oldest Resident of Calumet Co. is Dead at Son's Home

      Kaukauna-The oldest resident of Calumet Co., Mrs. Mary Driessen, 92, died at the home of her son, Michael, at Dundas early Friday morning. She had lived in Calumet Co. more than 60 years.

      Mrs. Driessen came to Little Chute from Holland in 1849 with her parents. She was a member of the Altar Society of St. Matthew Church at Hollandtown.

      Survivors are daughters, Mrs. William Gruhl of Milwaukee, Mrs. Anton Vande Yacht of Kaukauna, Mrs. John Ver Kuilen of Thorpe, Mrs. A. M. Van Ells of Fort Washington, Mrs. John Becker of Appleton, four sons, Henry, of Stanley, Wis., Edward of Kaukauna, Michael of Dundas, Fred of Thorpe, 50 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

      Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning from St. Matthew church in Hollandtown.
