    • Regina Benzschawel, age 84, of Sheboygan died Thursday August 25, 2011 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. Daughter of the late Michael and Angelina (Falco) Terranova was born Dec. 25, 1926 in Westerly, Rhode Island. Regina married Leander Benzschawel August 26, 1944 in Westerly, Rhode Island. He preceded her in death on Jan. 23, 1999. Regina's life was centered around her children and grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed.

      Survivors include two daughters Claudia Reinbold and Brenda Shearer (Michael Nelipovich) both of Hendersonville, North Carolina, two sons Terry Benzschawel (Halle Becker) of New York, New York, Greg Benzschawel of Sheboygan, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a sister Irene Fitch of Baltic, CT.

      Regina was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a brother Louis.

      Family and friends may call at the Novak-Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan on Monday from 11 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held 1 P.M. Monday at the funeral home with Deacon Mike Burch, parish director at St. Peter Claver Parish, and Nancy Simenz, chaplain at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice officiating. Private burial to follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
