Sandra "Sandy" Bradley - December 17, 1939 ~ September 24, 2023 (age 83) Sandra “Sandy” Bradley, age 83, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 24, 2023. She was born on December 17, 1939 in Bensonville, IL. Sandy graduated from UW-Whitewater in 1961 with a Bachelors in Education and went on to become a kindergarten teacher, which she loved. On December 30, 1961 she married the love of her life, Larry Bradley, and together they raised four wonderful daughters. Sandy loved to host and celebrate family events and holidays. Being a grandmother and a great grandmother was one of Sandy’s greatest joys in life. Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Larry and their daughters: Maureen (Jeff) Evers, Kathleen (Thomas) Wippich, Doreen (Brad) Fischer, and Colleen (Tim) VanGrinsven; her grandchildren: Danielle (Jacob) Smith, Derek (Alicia Sacotte) Evers, Samantha (Brad) Joniaux, Carley (Alex) Reinke, Seth (Tandy) Wippich, Aubrey (Mallory Sorenson) Fischer, Reagan (fiancé Corey Hagen) Fischer, Kiki Fischer, Lauren (Trevor Chatham) Vander Pas, and Jacqui Vander Pas; great-grandchildren: Carson Evers, Myles and Lincoln Joniaux, Maretta and Braxton Reinke, and LeeAnn Wippich; sisters-in-law: Helen Bradley and Pat Miller; and her nephew, Jim (Madeline) Benbrook. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews from the Bradley family. She was preceded in death by her parents: Erwin and Hazel Ann Pursel; her in-laws: Lawrence and Miranda Bradley; sister, Helen (Paul) Benbrook; brothers-in-law, Eugene Bradley and Fred Miller; uncles: Gus Mosak and Steve Berman; niece, Susan Kosinski; and nephews: Jeff Benbrook and Joe Bradley. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 620 E. Kimberly Ave, Kimberly. Visitation will begin at the church at 9:00 a.m. and will continue until the time of Mass. Sandy will be laid to rest in Holy Name Cemetery. For online condolences, please visit www.verkuilenfh.com.
