    • Mrs. Gertrude T. Hietpas, 62, of 616 Evergreen Crl., died at 12:50 p.m. Sunday in St. Mary's Hospital after an extended illness.

      She was born Sept. 23, 1912, in Rhinelander, and married Henry Hietpas Nov. 24, 1930. He died June 1, 1954.

      Mrs. Hietpas is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Ruth Ann) Paugel of Lake Tomahawk; two sons, Bernard of Chico, Calif., and James of Marshfield; four brothers, Adam and Fred Poskie of Rhinelander, George of Pickerel and Robert of Dolton, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Bernice) Glockner of Rhinelander and Mrs. Wells (Theresa) Wentworth of Minneapolis, Minn.; and three grandchildren. Her parents and one brother are deceased.

      The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Church, where she was a member. The Rev. Richard Burzynski will officiate and burial will follow at the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Hildebrand Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Tuesday, and the rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock.
