  Age 74, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 at her Attic Angel Place apartment. Cathy was born on December 29, 1940 in La Crosse, WI to Gerhard and Anne (Schwartz) Poehling. She graduated from Aquinas High School in La Crosse and University of Wisconsin with a degree in Hospital Dietetics. Cathy married on June 16, 1962 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in La Crosse. She was an active volunteer for many organizations, including, St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church and school, Edgewood High School, Girl and Boy Scouts, Braillist , American Needle Point Guild of which she was President, Attic Angel Association of which she was President in 1992, Sun City West PRIDES, and many other organizations. Cathy enjoyed genealogy, traveling (all 50 states and 40 countries), needle point, stained glass, cooking (Wisconsin State Journal Cookbook Judge), hiking, Badger sports, playing cards and games (Rummikub), and especially spending time with family and friends.
