Andrejeski, Lorraine A. (nee Plover)
Lorraine Andrejeski, 92, of Kaukauna, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born on October 14, 1917, in West Allis, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Pfund) Plover. She was a life-long resident of Kaukauna. Lorraine graduated in 1936 from Kaukauna High School. On October 14, 1941, she married John Andrejeski at St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna. John was a well known golfer and preceded her in death in 1959.
Lorraine was employed at Aid Association for Lutherans (now Thrivent) for 17 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Kaukauna. Lorraine enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, Bible classes, and the Green Bay Packers. She traveled to Hawaii, Washington, D.C. and her most memorable trip to New York City. Lorraine loved being with family and adored her great grandchildren.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Lynn (David) Kringle, Little Chute; son, Patrick (Maureen) Andrejeski, Greenville; four grandchildren: David (Marlene) Kringle, Appleton; Darrell (Sheila) Kringle, Roblin, Canada; Renea (Brad) Martin, Kaukauna and John (Eileen) Andrejeski, Sioux Falls, South Dakota; great grandchildren: Kammi Kringle; Kristopher and Samantha Kringle; Brooke and Hannah Martin and Mia Andrejeski. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her twin brother Willard (Ruth) Delcore, her brother Eugene (Delores) Delcore and stepfather Joseph Delcore.
The funeral service for Lorraine will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2010, at BETHANY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 124 W. 10th Street, Kaukauna, with Rev. Walter Steinbach officiating. Interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery, Kaukauna. The visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 3 p.m. until the time of service. A memorial. fund for Bethany Lutheran Church has been established in her name.
