Mrs. Lettellier, whose maiden name was Pauline Mathys, was born near Louvain, Belgium, November 18, 1825. She was married to Philip Lettellier June 28, 1915 [sic]. In 1868 the Lettellier family came to the United States and located in Wisconsin, living there until 1880, when they came to Nebraska and moved on a farm in Center townshp. After living there twelve years they moved to David City and in July, 1914, Mr. and Mrs. Lettellier went to Bloomington, Ind., to make their home with their son, Anton, and family.

Eight children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Lettellier, four of whom are living. They are Mrs. H. G. Wiese, of Omaha, Anton Lettellier of Bloomington and Frank Lettellier and Mrs. Theodore Brochtrup of David City.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lettellier were held December 3 in the Catholic church in Bloomington and burial was in the Catholic cemetery at that place, by the side of her husband. Frank Lettellier and Theodore Brochtrup were in attendance at the funeral services, having gone there a few days before Mrs. Lettellier's death. Mrs. Wiese also went from Omaha before her mother died.
