- Tuesday, the opening- day of the
exhibit, townspeople visited the club
from 2 until 5 o'clock to see the various
Indian handicrafts and relics. In
the buckskin dresses of Princess Alice
Oshkosh, Mrs. Philip Cornelius,
Oneida Indian from Little Chute and
her daughter, Dorothy, stood in
front of the Indian tepee makingbaskets
and pounding corn -with Indian,
utensils. "Bows, arrows, blankets
and Oneida Indian war bonnets
"were among the exhibits.
Today the setting: was early American,
stressing antiques and what
modern pieces of furniture may be
fashioned of old pieces.
