    • Mrs. Sophia Stengel, 77, who suffered a stroke of paralysis last Thursday, died at St. Vincent hospital, Green Bay, Monday [18 Dec 1922] afternoon. She was born in Germany and came to this country at the age of two years.

      Decedent is survived by three daughters and two sons, Mrs. William Holmes, Menasha; Mrs. William Johnson, Dayton, Ohio; Mrs. William Keller, Appleton; John Stengel, Waukegan, Ill.; Hubert Stengel, Alderwood Manor, Wash.; and by 32 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

      The body was removed to the home of Henry E. Roemer, 413 Walnut-st. Tuesday afternoon. The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning from St. Joseph church with interment at St. Joseph cemetery.
