    • MRS LENA DEYOUNG
      DIES AT AGE OF 72 YEARS

      Mrs. Lena DeYoung, 72, passed away at her home, 113 East Irving Street
      this morning at 4 o'clock.
      She had been in failing health for the last two years.
      Born in Holland, June 8, 1878, Mrs.DeYoung came to Oshkosh in 1912
      from Appleton where she had lived since the age of 4.
      She had come from Holland at that age. The deceased was a member of
      St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers Society.
      Surviving are the husband, John, four daughters, Mrs Joseph Meagher of
      Grosse Isle, Mich. Mrs Walter Nitkowski of Oshkosh, Sister M. Frances Romana,
      Crown Point,Ind. and Miss Marian DeYoung of Oshkosh, one son, Joseph DeYoung
      of Green Bay, three sisters, Mrs Nellie Knight and Mrs. Mary VanDyke of Marinette,
      and Miss Margaret Knight of Appleton; and 10 grandchildren.
      The funeral will be Saturday morning at 9.30 o'clock at Fiss & Bills funeral home
      and at 10 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
      Burial will be in Riverside cemetery, and friends may call at the funeral home
      from Friday afternoon until the hour of service.
      The Rosary will be recited Friday evening at 7.30 o'clock.
