      Husband Killed on Railroad Crossing Three Years Ago
      Mrs. Anna Steidl, who has been in failing health for six months, expired last Saturday night at the home of her son, Joseph Steidl, with whom she had been making her home for three years.
      The decedent was born in Lanz, Germany, 80 years ago. She came to this country in 1858, locating in the town of Greenville, which was then a wilderness. Here she resided until five years ago, when she and her husband moved to town.
      Three years ago today Mr. Steidl, who was also well advanced in years, was killed on a railroad crossing in the Third ward. Since his death Mrs. Steidl had been making her home with her son. Her death was caused by a general breaking down due to old age.
      Mrs. Steidl is survived by five children, Mrs. Schwab, Mrs. Poetzl and oseph (sic) Steidl, of this city, Charles Steidl, of Stephensville, and Frank Steidl, of Hortonville. Her children were with her when she breathed her last.

      NEAR THIRD ANNIVERSARY OF HUSBAND'S DEMISE.

      He Was Killed By Cars Upon March 19, 1901 -- Funeral To Be On Monday
      Within one hour of the third anniversary of the death of her husband Mrs. Annie Steidl passed away last night at 11 o'clock at the age of 80 years. It was three years ago today that her husband was killed by the cars.
      The funeral will take place Monday morning at 9 o'clock from the St. Joseph church.
      She leaves three sons and two daughters; Joseph of this city; Frank of Hortonville; Charles of Stephensville, and Mrs. Katherine Schwab and Mrs. John Poetzl, both of this city.
      Mrs. Steidl was born at Lanz, Germany, in 1824 and removed to this country in 1858 settling at once in Greenville Outagamie county, where she lived until five or six years ago since which time she has lived in Appleton.
