- Reva M. Chevalier, age 85, of Appleton, passed away at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna early Thursday, June 02, 2016. She was born on May 28, 1931 to the late Ed and Christobel (Correll) Kingston in Marinette, Wisconsin. On February 23, 1948 she married Adrian Chevalier, who preceded her in death on July 11, 2003. Reva provided in-home day care for many children in the valley, and some of them still call her grandma. She loved birds, especially cardinals, dogs and children. She enjoyed playing Pinochle, reading, word search puzzles, knitting, needlepoint and watching the Packers and the Brewers play.
She is survived by her children: David (Nancy); Daniel (Donna); Douglas (Cathy); Wendy Chevalier; Lori (John Ross) Chevalier and Kari Schoonheere, grandchildren; Jason (Jenny), Matthew (Nikki), Tara (Pat), Tracy (Mike), Eric, Alex (Niki), Erik and Helene, great grandchildren; Marley, Will, Luke, Amber, Taylor, Payton, Gabi and Sophia, sister in law, Pat Kingston and brother in law, Ken Vieth. She is further survived by in laws; Alice Chevalier, Joyce (Dick) Laluzerne, Bob (Jean) Chevalier, Tom (Juan Marie) Chevalier, John (Jeanne) Chevalier, Annette (Jerry) Hanson, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Reva is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Adrian, son in law, Marc Schoonheere, brother Bruce Kingston, sisters, Donna Vieth and Eloise (Bill) Sieloff, brother in law, Gene Chevalier and sister in law, Joann Chevalier.
A funeral service for Reva will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1810 N. McDonald St, Appleton WI with Rev. Gerald Falk officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 am at the church. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
