- Ann Stilp, 88, Appleton, formerly of Neenah, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010, at The Heritage, Appleton. She was born Nov. 4, 1921, in Plainfield, New Jersey, daughter of Antonio and Anna (Manhattan) Guerrini. Ann married John P. Stilp Sr. on Feb. 15, 1945, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 2004. She was employed as a registered nurse at Theda Clark hospital for over 40 years prior to her retirement. She was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran having served as a nurse during World War II. Ann and John traveled to John's reunions with the 57th Bomb Wing regularly to all parts of the world; they enjoyed traveling. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Menasha.
Mrs. Stilp is survived by her children, Susan Kraus, Tustin, CA; John P. (Pam) Stilp, Jr., Milwaukee; Mary Ann (Mark) Streufert, Neenah; Cathy (Dan) McClone, Menasha; Joseph (Bonnie) Stilp, Shiocton; Jeffrey Stilp, Neenah, and Jean (Dr. Mark) Bognar, Rhinelander; 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Ann was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Joseph Guerrini.
The Mass of Resurrection for Ann will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 324 Nicolet Blvd., Menasha, with Fr. Paul Radetski officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the mass. A memorial has been established.
