- WITTENBER, Celia Was an intrepid armchair adventurer and lover of mysteries and anacrostics. She passed peacefully on August 14, 2015 to pursue a new adventure. Born on November 28, 1919, in Toledo, Ohio, she moved to California, in 1979, where she resided in Sausalito and Sonoma. Celia was predeceased by her husband, Jan, and sister, Marcey. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn (Christofferson); her son, Jan (Kay); her sister, Rhea Lubotsky; her granddaughter, Lisa (Musso); her great-granddaughter, Kinsey; her grandsons, Jesse and Ian; and several nieces and nephews. Her family wishes to thank the caring and capable nursing staff of Sonoma Valley Hospital's Healing at Home group and the kind and compassionate nursing and support staff with Sonoma Hospice. A Celebration of Life will be held on a future date.
