Notes - Michael L. Dashner, Sonoma, Calif., formerly of De Pere, died on May 28, 2003, at the age of 55, following a courageous battle with cancer. Mike was born July 26, 1947, to Arlene (Heezen) Dashner and the late Perry Dashner in Green Bay. He was a 1965 graduate of West De Pere High School and graduated from the University of Illinois-Champaign in 1969 with a degree in aeronautical engineering. He served four years in the United States Air Force at Alamagordo, N.M. Following his discharge he was employed by North American Rockwell. He later moved to California settling in Sonoma where he operated a construction business for the past 25 years.
Mike is survived by his son, Andy Dashner, California his mother, Arlene Dashner, De Pere and his brother and sister-in-law, James and Lyn Dashner, De Pere and one nephew, Michael Dashner, De Pere.
He was preceded in death by his father, Perry Dashner and his grandparents.
Funeral was held in Sonoma, Calif. A Memorial Service will be held here at a later date. Call family for arrangements.
