      Recitation of the Rosary for Ivan Elton Caligan will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday (tonight) in Adamson's Sheridan Funeral Home with the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Michael's Church, Grand Ronde. Interment will be at noon at St. James Cemetery. He died Nov. 29, 1976 in McMinnville hospital.

      Mr. Caligan was born May 31, 1890, in Butler, a community that was near the present Valley Junction. He lived in this area all of his life where he was employed as a logger. He married Elizabeth Josephine Vandehey in Dallas, April 11, 1948.

      Survivors include wife, Elizabeth, Grand Ronde; stepsons, Robert Baunach, Rufus, and John Baunach, Beaverton; stepdaughters, Dorothy Larkins, Milwaukie, and Margaret Roalsen, Beaverton; sister, Leta Fagerlie, Portland; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
