Vanden Boogaard, Audrey D. Audrey Vanden Boogaard, of Kimberly, age 87, died Monday, February 27, 2006, at Franciscan Care Center. She was born November 18, 1918, in Manitowoc, the daughter of the late Bernard and Katherine (Kamps) Beschta. On April 29, 1946, she married Bernard Vanden Boogaard. Audrey was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, Kimberly, and William Verhagen Post 60 of the American Legion Auxillary. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and her son Bob will remember her as his "queen, angel and movie star." Audrey enjoyed dancing and playing in a weekly card club for over 30 years. She is survived by her children: James (Sheree) Vanden Boogaard of Oshkosh, Patricia (Thomas) Asman of Kimberly, Mary (Lenny) Milton of Darboy, Kim (Cheryl) Vanden Boogaard of Greenville and Robert Vanden Boogaard of Cadott; nine grandchildren: Marria Marg, Jessie (Daniel) Pinckney and Sarah Vanden Boogaard; Jeff (Kelli Rindt) Asman and Randy (Anne) Asman; Jenny (Jason) Chevalier and Laurie (Pete) Ritger; Ben and Cory Vanden Boogaard; ten great-grandchildren: Daniel and Ezra Pinckney; Melvin Vanden Boogaard; Grant and Michael Asman; Marley, Will and Luke Chevalier; Nathan and Elizabeth Ritger; two brothers: Vin Beschta of Greendale and Gene (Carol) Beschta of Appleton; sister, Joan Gruentzel of Appleton; five sisters-in-law: Marcie Beschta of Appleton, Dorothy Vanden Boogaard of Appleton, Esther Vanden Boogaard of Appleton, Maxine Wichman of Kimberly and Mary (Ed) Prellwitz of Savannah, Georgia; three brothers-in-law: Matt (Marian) Vanden Boogaard of Kimberly, Paul (Evelyn) Vanden Boogaard of Appleton and Elmer (Opal) Vanden Boogaard of Appleton. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband Bernard; her son and daughter-in-law, Garry (Jackie) Vanden Boogaard; her sister, Pat (Dick) Brouillard; four brothers: Stan, Carl (Bette), Don (Delores) and Gerry (Jeannie) Beschta; four brothers-in-law: Gene Gruentzel, Robert Vanden Boogaard, Vin Vanden Boogaard and Otto Wichman; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Beschta and Esther (Norbert) Schwab. The funeral liturgy will be held at 12 (noon) on Thursday, March 2, 2006, at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH, 600 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly, with Fr. Tom Pomeroy and Deacon Quinn Mann officiating. Interment will take place at the parish cemetery. Visitation will be at Church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. The family would like to thank Margaret and Larry Artz for their weekly visits to our mom at Franciscan Care Center.
