- Philip W. Reuss, 94, Neenah, passed away on Saturday morning, Feb. 18, 200 6, at his home. He was born in Appleton on Dec. 8, 1911, to the late Clarence H. and Alice M. (Bogan) Reuss. Phil was a graduate of Appleton High School. On Feb. 12, 1936, he married Virginia Gonnering and they shared 44 wonderful years until she preceded him in death in 1980. He was employ ed by Kimberly-Clark as a converting mechanic for 34 years before retiring in 1974. He enjoyed Harley motorcycles, and was a handy man who was very gifted in woodworking and cabinetry. Phil was a member of St. Gabriel 's Catholic Church.He is survived by his children, Dolly (Dan) Meyer, Tom (Joan) Reuss, John (Molly) Reuss, Mark (Sue) Reuss, all of Neenah; grandchildren, David Broehm, Debi (Al) Ebben, James (Renee) Broehm, Robert Broehm, Marnie (Steve) Nelson, JoAnn (Jim) Schmidt, Chris (Terri) Reuss, Kathie (Caleb) Warren, Steve (Valerie) Reuss; 15 great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.In addition to his parents and his wife, Virginia, he was preceded in dea th by his brothers, Randall, James, and Clarence; his sister, Miriam; and his grandson, Mark Jr. Funeral mass for Mr. Reuss will be celebrated on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church (900 Geiger St., Neenah) with Father Richard Allen officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a .m. until the time of the mass at church. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Theda Care Hospice, Dr. Mark Yackley, and Theresa Dachel, Nurse Practitioner for all of the wonderful care given to our father.
