    • My great-great grandma Rose's full name was
      Petronella Rosella Lamers Sanderfoot. She was born
      on July 29, 1908 in Chili, Wisconsin. She married
      Joseph Sanderfoot on June 22, 1926 at Holy Name
      Church in Kimberly, Wisconsin. She also married
      John DeValk on Nov. 29, 1979. She had 6 children.
      She died on September 16, 1996 at Parkside Care
      Center.
      My great -great grandma Rose used to always
      feed the hobos when they came offthe trains. She set
      up a card table on Saturday night, then on Sunday
      morning before church, they put a tablecloth on the
      table. Then, after coming home from church, my
      great- great grandma and her daughters helped make
      a big breakfast. All ofthe hobos would come to eat at
      her house because they knew that if they went there,
      my great- great grandma Rose would give them food.
      My great -great grandma Rose took care ofher
      husband and six kids, her parents, for a while she
      took care ofthe neighbor's children, and fed all of the
      hobos every Sunday morning. My great- great
      Grandma Rose was a very generous person.
