- Pernile Rose 'Nellie' Meyer, 90, a native of Mukilteo, Wash. and resident of Fairhope since 1932, died Nov. 4, 1997. She was operator of Lilyacres Flower Farm in Fairhope for many years.
Survivors include two daughters, Marjorie Ard and Dorothy Meyer, both of Silverhill; one son, Donald W. Meyer Sr. of Wolfeboro, N.H.; four sisters, Edith Baudry of Edmonds, Wash., Ruth Smith of Snohimish, Wash., Esther Spence of Poulsbo, Wash. and Violet Ziebell of Florence, Ore.; two brothers, Charles O. Wilson of the Republic of Panama and Joseph Woodrow MacRae of Camas, Wash.; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 7 at Belforest Christian Church with the Rev. Nathan Thomas officiating. Burial was in Fairhope Colony Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale.
