- Mrs. William Winius Pearle D. Mears Little Chute Age 83, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2000, at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. She was born on May 17, 1917, in Marathon, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Jacob and Pearl (Divine) Mears. Pearle was employed by Van Zeeland Garage for over 25 years. She was a member of St.
John Catholic Church, Little Chute, President and Past President of American Legion Auxiliary Post 258 and actively involved with the Juniors Organization. Pearle is survived by three sisters, Bernice (Edward) Cich of Appleton Anita Tackett of Little Chute Gladys Stojakovic of Appleton her brothers-in-law, Robert Sellers of California Joseph (Special Friend, Rella) Winius of Kimberly Ray (Elaine) Winius of Little Chute Harold (Isie) Winius of Kimberly Lester (Pat) Winius of Little Chute Henry (Claire) Winius of California her sisters-in-law, Ann Dercks of Little Chute Martha Haupt of Little Chute Harriet Masch of California Alice Hermus of Kimberly Dorothy (Pete) Mears of Appleton and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William two sisters, Veronica Miller, Marion Sellers, and a brother, DuWayne Mears. In accordance with Pearle's wishes, her body will be cremated and a memorial mass will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, at ST. JOHN CATHOLIC CHURCH, Little Chute, with the Rev. John Schuetze officiating. Her cremains will be interred in the parish cemetery. The family will greet visitors at a meal at the church immediately following the mass. The family would like to thank the entire staff at St. Paul Home, her special befriender, Carolyn Braley, special neighbors, Barry and Lori Stumpf and Carol Shippy for the kindness shown to Pearle.
