Paul L. Schmidt W3655 Culbertson Rd. Seymour
Age 66, was called to Heaven on April 5, 1994. He was born December 31, 1927 in Hollandtown, Wisconsin, to the late Louis and Helen Schmidt. He married Dorothy J. Vosters of Little Chute on February 20, 1950. Paul was active in farming in the Seymour area for the past 40 years, retiring in 1991. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Seymour wher he was an usher. He was also a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society, the Catholic Kinghts, and the Dairyland Snowmobile Club.
Paul is survived by his wife, Dorothy of 44 years; two sons, Thomas, Seymour; Louis and his wife, Mary Jo, Seymour; six daughters, Helen Tilkens, Green Bay; Paula Schmidt, Appleton; Dee and her husband, John Nagel, Seymour; Mary Beth and her husband, Pat Guyette, Black Creek; Susan and her husband, Jerry Cismoski, Fenimore; Sally and her husband, Rick Rohm, Black Creek. He is also survived by a brother, Robert and Elaine Schmidt, Kaukauna; three sisters, Mary and Elmer Bueckler, Wrightstown; Betty and Bill Nelson, California; RoseAnna and Jim Baltus, Laona. He was a proud Grandpa of 15 grandchildren.
Paul was precededed in death by his two son, Paul Joseph and David, a grandson, Joey Cismoski, also his parents, Louise and Helen Schmidt, and a sister, Helen Lou.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. John Catholic Church, Seymour with the Rev. Frank Kerscher officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Muehl Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour from 4 until 9 p.m. Thursday with a prayer service at 8 p.m. and Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until services until 11 a.m.
