Paul Abendroth, Menasha Firm Officer, Succumbs
Paul J. Abendroth, 66, vice-president and former general manager of the International Wire Works, Menasha, died at his home, 704 N. Superior street, at 9:30 Wednesday morning after a short illness. He was born April 26, 1887 in Appleton.
Abendroth was secretary-treasurer of St. Therese Catholic church, a member of the Holy Name society, Catholic Order of Foresters, Knights of Columbus and Catholic Knights of Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning at St. Therese church with burial in St. Joseph cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock Thursday and Friday evenings at the Ellenbecker Funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 o'clock Thursday evening.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Leo Whalen and Mrs. Edward Probst, both of Appleton; one son, Paul, Appleton; two brothers, Otto, Appleton, and Henry, Chicago, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Louis Schroeder, Appleton, and Mrs. Edward Siefert, Spokane, Wash.; and 13 grandchildren
