- Appleton - Patrick C. Kiley, age 74, of Appleton, died on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Pat was born July 20, 1945 in Appleton to the late G. Willard and Dorothy (Van Gorp) Kiley. A lifelong resident of Appleton he was a 1963 graduate of Xavier High School.
Pat worked in the paper and printing industry before settling in the advertising field in the 1980's. He won awards for being the top ad salesperson in the yellow page field in the late 1980's. In 1991 he and his soon to be wife Mary (Kositzke) founded the ecumenical religious newspaper Together In Faith which they published for 16 years. And together for over 30 years they were involved with the adult foster care program. Pat was a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Church and served on the Parish Council in the late 1990's.
Pat's interests included baseball, football and classic cars of the 1950's, especially Studebakers.
He is survived by his wife Mary of 26 years; daughters: Trisha (Dan) Rawlings, Appleton, Katy (Tim) Schultz, Oshkosh, Tara (Eric) Pray, Sun Prairie, and son Tim (Kimbre) Kiley, Black Creek; Stepdaughter, Jackie (Jeff) Warzyn, Appleton; grandchildren: Tyler and Cayla Rawlings, Brooke (Jason) Keppler, Logan Rawlings, Cana, Cooper, Letty, and Cecilee Kiley, and Elliot and Hadley Pray; step grandchildren: Jason Warzyn, Michelle Lanser, Molly Warzyn, and Miranda (Grant) Nelton; great grandchildren: Ashton, Addison, Ciley, Claire, Audrey, and Iris; brothers: Tom, Mike (Patti), and Terry (Terri) Kiley all of Appleton; brothers-in-law Bill Lappen, Oconto Falls and Ken (Carole) Kositzke, Appleton; sisters-in-law: Cheri Kiley, Omro and Betty Sommers, Appleton. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents; brother John Kiley; sister Ellen Lappen, brother-in-law David Kositzke; sister-in-law Jude Kiley; and nephews David and Tommy Kiley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 am on Monday, December 30 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 S. State St., Appleton, with Rev. Bob Stegmann officiating. Friends may visit at the church on Monday from 9 am until 10:45 am. Interment will take place at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
