- Hilbert - Patricia "Pat" Belling, age 79, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2020, with her family by her side. Pat was born on June 4, 1941, daughter of the late Gilbert and Sophie (Filas) Wettstein. For 13 years Pat owned D.J's Bar in Kaukauna with Dave Belling. She enjoyed playing soft ball and bowling, which her bar sponsored. She also enjoyed the fellowship of her patrons. Pat later worked at Foremost Farms as a cheese maker, a skill she was extremely proud of.
Pat had a unique and fun personality. She was nick named "spit fire" because of her endless amount of energy. She always looked nice and took care of herself well. Pat enjoyed gardening and fishing, as well as spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pat is survived by Dave Belling, children: Randy Belling, Debbie (Kevin) Belling and Rick (Linda) Belling; her grandchildren: Crystle (Tyson), John, Heather and Brooke; and great grandchildren: Ellie, Alassandra, Cruz, Jayden and Owen. She is further survived by her sister: Betty (Jerry) Janssen; sisters-in-law: Kathy Hahn and Donna Wettstein; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and special beach friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Gilbert and Sophie Wettstein; her brothers: Gil and Ed Wettstein; parents-in-law: Agnes and Roy Belling; brothers-in-law: Tom (Sharon) Belling and Dave Hahn; and infant sister-in-law: Joan Belling.
The Funeral Liturgy for Pat will be held at 11:00 am on July 24, 2020, at HOLY CROSS PARISH, 212 Doty St, Kaukauna. Visitation will take place from 9:00 am until the time of service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
