Lloyd Victor Weyenberg Former Appleton Resident
Age 95, died in Austel, Georgia on Saturday afternoon April 5, 1997. Lloyd was born on March 26, 1902 in Appleton to the late Martin and Wilhelmina [Toonen] Weyenberg. He always loved mathematics and was a graduate of Marquette University. Lloyd's life included homes in Appleton, Green Gay, and Milwaukee, Tucson, Arizona, Kihei, Maui, Hawaii, and for the past four years, the Marietta, Georgia area. He worked in gthe family shoe business in Wisconsin, later operating a dude ranch in Arizona, was a farmer upon his retirement.
Lloyd's family legacy, his survivors include two sons, Ronald [Marta] Weyenberg, Hilo, Hawaii; Franklyn [Jill] Weyenberg, Marietta, Georgia; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He is also survived by his second wife, Louise, Austel, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Magdeline, in 1943, to whom he was devoted, and a son, Lloyd Jr.
Lloyd was a devoted father, his family will miss his stories and laughter, and will remember him for his sense of humor, generosity and consideration to others.
Complete funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, 1997 at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Appleton with Fr. David Belongea OFM Cap. officiating. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in the family plot in Appleton.
