Edward J. Weyenberg, 67, 1811 S. Bouten St., died at 2:30 this morning at his home after a long illness. He was born November 16, 1890, in Appleton and worked for the Simplex Shoe Company in Milwaukee for 26 years before he retired in 1949 and returned to Appleton.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 Saturday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock Friday evening at the Brettschneider Funeral Home where friends may call after 4 o'clock Friday afternoon.
Survivors include the widow; one son, Robert, Milwaukee; two brothers, Frank, Milwaukee, and Lloyd, Tucson, Arizonia; and eight sisters, Mrs. Joseph Schiffer, Mrs. Reinhard Wenzel and Mrs. Dan McCarthy, all of Appleton; Mrs. Peter Gonnering and Mrs. Maurice Emporer, both of Kaukauna; Mrs. Arnold Van and Mrs. William Femal, both of Green Bay; and Mrs. J.J. Blenker, Milwaukee.
