      Mrs. Joseph Schiffer, 80, of 532 N. Appleton St., died at 7 a.m. today in Appleton after a short illness. She was born October 30, 1878, in Appleton and lived in the city all her life. She was a member of the Christian Mother's Society of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

      Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the Brettschneider Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Sunday until the time of services. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

      She is survived by one son, Gordon, Appleton; two brothers, Frank L. Weyenberg, Milwaukee, and Lloyd V. Weyenberg, Tucson, Arizonia; and seven sisters, Mrs. Reinhard Wenzel and Mrs. Dan Mc Carthy, both of Appleton; Mrs. Peter Gonnering and Mrs. Maurice Emperor, both of Kaukauna; Mrs. Arnold Van and Mrs. William Femal, both of Green Bay; and Mrs. J.J. Blenker, Milwaukee.
