The deceased was past 81 years of age and during the past two weeks has been gradually declining, due to his extreme age. He came to America in 1852, and during the first 10 years resided in Milwaukee county but in 1862 removed to Outagamie county and settled in Buchanan, where he has ever since resided being engaged nearly the entire time in the occupation of farming.
