Theresa K. Spierings, age 90, passed away on June 7, 2022. She was born on October 13, 1931, daughter of the late Martin and Anna (DeGroot) Vosters.
Theresa was a loving wife and wonderful mother to her 6 children. She enjoyed polka dancing, playing cards and spending time with family.
Theresa is survived by her husband, Lambert “Jim” Spierings; children: Margaret (significant other, Mark Dzendzera) Hendricks, Randy (Carol) Spierings, Kay (Jack) Van Lanen, Carrie (Bill) Crowley, Ron (Maggie) Spierings and Bob (fiancé, Tammi Ackmann) Spierings; grandchildren: Brian (fiancé, Cathy Barwick) Hendricks, Jessica Hendricks, James (Lindy) Spierings, Mary Katherine (Andrew) Thompson, Brett (Laura) Van Lanen, Mike Van Lanen, Sam Van Lanen, Daniel (Colleen) Gitlin, Nick Gitlin, Jason Gitlin, Matt Spierings and Elizabeth Spierings; 9 great grandchildren: sisters-in-law: Marge Holcomb and Betty (Tony) Hietpas; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Theresa was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Jim Vanden Heuvel; son-in-law, Jerry Hendricks; brothers: Ves (Jane), Andrew (Calixta), Norbert (Marion), Bill (Eunice), Ernest (Jen), Gilbert (Isabelle), Art (Eunice) and Simon (Arlene) Vosters; sisters: Liz (Norb) Becker and Agnes (Gordon) VandeHey; Jim’s siblings: Dorothy, Helen, Evelyn, John, Donna and Marion.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 411 Vandenbroek Street, Little Chute, with Fr. Ron Belitz officiating.
