Wickenburg, AZ - On June 12th, 2018, at the age of 62, Lynn Ann Mader, took her last breath exactly where she wanted to be - in the arms of her loving husband, Dick Underwood, at their home in Wickenburg, Arizona. Lynn was born on June 30, 1955 to Lawrence and Linda (Bloy) Mader of Menasha, Wisconsin. Growing up on a dairy farm, Lynn gained a strong connection with earth and nature, and a love for animals. As the youngest of six, she taught her siblings patience, knowing she could always rely on her "pretend friend" (Foudy Dade) to play with her at those time when the patience of family members became limited. Over the years, Lynn grew from playing in the sand and making "sailboats" out of overgrown cucumbers, to a beautiful loving woman who was extremely dedicated to maintaining a healthy mind, body and soul. For many years, Lynn started her day with meditation and yoga. And while Lynn was often entertained by her kitties (Pixie and Cee-A-Tee), she and Dick also took great pleasure in entertaining their many friends by planning fun events, directing and acting in small town plays, and singing karaoke. She loved being active, and particularly enjoyed hiking, playing golf, dancing and singing. As Lynn and Dick traveled over the years, Lynn was able to touch many lives through her welcoming smile and caring nature, bringing joy to all who knew her. Lynn loved her church (Unity of Surprise) which nurtured great strength and her profound faith in God.

In addition to her loving husband of 37 years, Lynn is survived by two brothers: Bill (Arlene) Mader of Tucson, Arizona and Larry (Paula) Mader of Abbotsford, Wisconsin; by three sisters: Marilyn Mader of Appleton, Wisconsin, Rosie Rohm of Hortonville, Wisconsin and Carol Mader (Stan) Carlsen of Jasper, Georgia. Lynn also shared her love with four stepchildren: Scott (Lisa) Underwood, Denice (Scott) Underwood Hudson, Rick (Judy) Underwood and Kim (Ben) Underwood Warnke. In addition, she touched the lived of numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Lynn was preceded in death by her parent, Lawrence and Linda (Bloy) Mader, as well as her nephew Jamie Jansen. A Celebration of Lynn's Life will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2018 - 1:00 PM at The Stone Toad.

If you would like to honor Lynn's memory, donations to Hospice of the Valley are welcomed, as they provided great comfort to Lynn in the final weeks before her transformation into an angel.
