Notes - Formerly of Kaukauna, died Friday, September 28, 2001 at Columbia Hospital in Milwaukee. Lillian was born in Kaukauna on March 9, 1930, daughter of the late William and Barbara (Wolf) Elworth. Lillian attended school in Kaukauna and married George Roovers. She will be remembered as a talented seamstress who enjoyed handicrafts of all kinds.
She is survived by four daughters: Pam (Jim) Garvey of Freedom, Deb (Rich) Onkels of South Milwaukee, Linda (Terry) Wright of Darboy, and Amy (Wayne) Koehler of New London; eight grandchildren: Jason (tonya) Garvey, Matt Garvey, Karl Onkels, Kassy Onkels, Chad Wright, Missy Wright, Marcus Koehler, and Weston Koehler. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents and by a son Michael Roovers.
A private service for the family is being planned, and inurnment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Kaukauna.
