      Age 94, passed away Saturday, July 3, 1999, at Franciscan Care Center in Appleton. Betty was born May 12, 1905, in Kimberly, daughter of the late Jacob and Nellie (Van Domelen) Lamers. On May 25, 1926, Betty married Ted Lemmers, who preceded her in death in 1972. Betty was a lifelong Kimberly resident and was a faithful member of Holy Name Catholic Church, the Ladies of Holy Name, and the funeral choir. She was also a member of the Golden Agers. Survivors include two sons: Stephen Lemmers of Appleton and Ronald Lemmers of Black Creek; two daughter-in-laws: Alice Lemmers of Kimberly, and Ann Lemmers of Appleton; three daughters: Agnes Nett of Appleton, Ethel Mae (Sid) Zuzelski of Aurora, Colorado, and Doris (Donald) Cost of Denver, Colorado; twenty-eight grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; three brothers: Arthur (Leone) Lamers of Kimberly; John (Germaine) Lamers of Kimberly, and Jacob (Florence) Lamers of Kimberly; two sisters: Agnes Coonen of Kimberly, and Wilma (Bernard) Bongers of Appleton. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ted, in 1972; sons: Lawrence, Leo and Thomas Lemmers; sisters: Margaret Wachtendonk and Mayme Vandenberg; brothers: Henry, William, George and Raymond Lamers; a daughter-in-law, Joan Lemmers; and a son-in-law, Martin Nett. The funeral liturgy for Betty will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, July 8, 1999, at Holy Name Catholic Church, 602 East Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly with Fr. Dennis Bergsbaken officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Thursday, directly at the church, from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service.
