      Albert J. Hietpas, 65, Rt. 4, Appleton, died in West Allis at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday after an illness of one year. He was born May 8, 1894, in Little Chute, and lived there all his life. He served in Warld War I and was a member of Jacob-Coppus Post No. 258 of the American Legion.

      Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute, with burial in the parish cemetery. Military services will be conducted at the grave. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute, after 2 p.m. Thursday. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday.

      Survivors include three brothers, Frank, Shawano, Sylvester, Kimberly, and Joseph, Little Chute; and five sisters, Mrs. Theodora VandenHuevel, Kimberly, Mrs. Susan Kamps, Combined Locks, and Mrs. Sophia Huiting, Mrs. Barney Lamers, and Mrs Ervin Haessly, all of Little Chute.
