Notes - Theodore VanOudenhoven was born in Holland in 1815 and came to the United States in 1849. His wife, Mary Van Hammond, was born in Holland on May 30, 1834 and emigrated to this country in 1851. Theodore located first at Detroit, Michigan, but after a short time moved to the copper fields, where he remained about one year, after which he came to Outagamie County and purchased a farm in Kaukauna township, on which he continued to operate until his death, December 2, 1890. His widow survived him until March 3, 1907. They had fourteen children.
Tuesday of the last week was the burial of Theo. Van Oudenhoven in Little Chute. He was one of the most prosperous and best considered farmers in these parts. Mr. Van Oudenhoven died the previous Sunday at the age of 77.
