    • Charla “Char” M. Bevers of Cedarburg, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the age of 86 yrs.

      Char was born in Little Chute, WI on October 1, 1933 to the late Ernest & Henrietta (nee Brys) Miron and married Leon “Lee” Bevers on December 28, 1954 in Little Chute, WI at St. John Catholic Church.

      Char is survived by her, children; Jeff (Teri) Bevers of West Bend, Amy Bevers of Cedarburg and Steve (Jill) Bevers of Cedarburg, grandchildren; Erin (Ryan) Dove of Jackson, Alison (Mike) McVane of Lena, WI, Lauren (Jeff) Becker of Cedarburg, Sam Bevers of Ada, WI, Noah Bevers of Guimbal, Phillipines and Hannah Bevers of Minneapolis. She is further survived by 6 great grandchildren, brother, Thom (Sue) Miron, sister-in-law, Jo (the late Jim) Miron, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lee, and sisters; Judy and Betty.

      She was born, she lived and she died. Mom said many times that is all she wanted for her obituary, but that is not nearly enough for this wonderful lady. She was a role model of a caring and loving mother, grandmother and faithful friend to many. She loved life and enjoyed celebrating that life with family and friends. In her 50 years in Cedarburg and almost 30 years in the Cedarburg School System as a teacher/librarian she knew and touched many. So if you knew her, the next time you have a wine, beer or brandy and water, take a moment to toast her and our fortune to have had her in our lives. Char will be dearly missed.

      Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday January 18, 2020, 11 AM at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church 1375 Covered Bridge Rd. Cedarburg. Family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 9 – 10:45 AM.

      In lieu of flowers, memorials to the MACC Fund appreciated.
