Calvin G. Schnese

Formerly of Kimberly, age 63, died Monday, August 18, 1997 in Appleton. He was born March 14, 1934 in Kimberly, the son of the late Howard and Irene (Urban) Schnese. Cal married Rose Van Roy on January 15, 1955 in Kimberly at Holy Name Catholic Church. He owned and operated the Denha Painting and Decorating business in Anchorage, Alaska for six years. Cal was a career man in the military. He was honored with two Purpe Hearts and winner of the Silve Star. He was in the Apecial Forces and was a Breen Beret.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rose, his four children; Karen Wallace, Terry and Kelly Schnese, Ted and Judy Schnese, Tamy and Steve Archambault, all of Anchorage; seven grandchildren; a brother and sister in-law, Jerry and Sue Schnese, Appleton; a sister, Patricia Moller, West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by a brother in-law, Tom Moller. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and pending at the Jansen Fargo Funeral Home.
