      "MRS. ANNA VAN GOMPEL
      Mrs. Anna Van Gompel, 82, Route 1, Neenah, died at 10 o'clock Saturday night in Appleton after a short illness. She was born May 16, 1876 in Little Chute. She was a charter member of the St. Johanna court of the Women's Catholic Order of Foresters in Little Chute.

      Funeral services will be at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning at St. Therese Catholic church, Appleton, with burial in St. John parish cemetery, Little Chute.

      Friends may call after 7 o'clock tonight at Verkuilen Funeral home, Little Chute, where the rosary will be said at 8 o'clock tonight and Tuesday night.

      She is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Ervin Johnson, Ephraim, Mrs. Leo Powless, Green Bay, Mrs. Ervin Houle, route 1, Neenah, and Miss Leona Van Gompel, Mrs. Clarence Dietzen, Mrs. Harold Heckel and Mrs. Marvin Smith, all of Appleton; three sons Elmer Tellage Spring, Ala., Omar, route 1, Neenah, and Willard, Appleton; one brother, Herman Menting, Phlox; 23 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren."
