      Age 82, died Saturday, January 6, 1996 at Appleton Medical Center. She was born August 8, 1913 in the Town of Vanden Broek, the daughter of the late John and Anna [Jansen] Jansen. On August 8, 1933 she was united in marriage to Ignatius 'Nace' M. Murphy in Little Chute. She was a Freedom resident most of her life. Anna enjoyed crocheting, working in her garden and visiting with her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom and the Christian Mothers.

      She is survived by her husband, Ignatius of 62 years; children; LaVonne and Ronald Greiner, Freedom; Dorothy and Glenn Schroeder, Freedom; Thomas and Debbie Murphy, Freedom; 11 grandchildren; Cindy [John] Van Den Berg, Joe [Mary] Greiner, Cathy Greiner and her fiance, Jerry Kempen, Peggy [Joe] Huss, Jeff Schroeder and his fiancee, Katie Spayd, Richard Schroeder and special friend, Lisa, Ronald [Charlene] Schroeder, Mary [Mike] Grawitch, Kristy Schroeder, Travis and Holly Murphy; 11 great grandchildren, Jamie, Jackie and Jeri Van Den Berg, Dana and Eric Greiner, Cassy, Trevor and Kayla Huss, Christopher, Lindsey and Kimberly Grawitch; a sister in-law, Evelyn Jansen, Little Chute, husbands two sisters and a brother in-law, Margaret and Walter Heiss, Appleton; Marie Van Dehy, Darboy; two sisters in-law, Joan Murphy, Appleton; Elaine Murphy, Appleton; a brother in-law, Walter and Rose Van Hoof; nieces and nephews.

      She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister in-law, John and Hattie Jansen, George and Alois Jansen, a sister and brother in-law, Mary and Lee Onkels, husbands three brothers, Pat, Joe and Jim Murphy, a sister, Dorothy Van Hoof, a brother in-law, Martin Van Dehy.

      Mass of Resurrection will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday, January 8, 1996 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom with Father Dennis Ryan officiating, burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 5 p.m. on Monday until the time of service.
