Joseph J. Weyenberg Sr., 68, 223 Maragret Street , a lifetime resident of this city, died Sunday afternoon, November 11, at the Kaukauna Community Hospital following a short illness. Born May 20, 1911, in Kaukauna, Mr. Weyenberg had been employed by the Roloff Manufacturing Corporation for 35 years until his retirement in 1976. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters, and the Holy Cross Catholic Church. He has served in the United States Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Muthig Weyenberg; three daughters; Mrs. George (Diane) Alders, Woodville, Texas; Mrs. James (Patricia) Eichhorst, Brillion; Mrs. Jerry (Kay) Luckow, Kaukauna; a son, Joseph J. Jr. Kaukauna; two brothers; William Sr. and John M. both of Kaukauna; a sister, Mrs. John (Min) Heindel, Kaukauna; ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
The complete funeral will be at 10 :30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, with the Rev. Mike Hoffman officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at the Fargo Funeral Home, Kaukauna. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Monday evening.
