    Charles “Chuck” R. Weyenberg, age 71, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 27, 2025 after a short battle with cancer. Born on July 5, 1953, in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, Chuck was the son of John and Anna (Jansen) Weyenberg.

    On November 9, 1976, he married the love of his life, Nancy Doering. They shared a life full of love, joy, and meaningful moments. Chuck found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Spending quiet evenings by a fire, watching movies, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. He was a dedicated and hardworking man, spending his career at Rohloff’s Manufacturing, where he worked until his retirement. Chuck cherished his family. He deeply loved his wife, Nancy, and missed her dearly after her passing. Chuck will be remembered for his gentle heart, love of family, and quiet strength he carried through life.

    He is survived by his sons, Brian (Amy) Weyenberg of Wrightstown and Robert Weyenberg of Kaukauna; and his beloved granddaughter, Aleah. He is also survived by his siblings: Carol Coenen, Ray (Janice) Weyenberg, Dorothy Lamers and by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in law: Bev Weyenberg, Carol Stepanski, Nancy Doering, Rich (Linda) Doering, Dennis Doering, Leon (Mary) Doering, Diane (Cy) Schmidt, Cathy (Kevin) Kavanaugh, Sue (Mark) Vander Heiden, Linda (Kevin) Wirth, Jane (Terry) Waters, and Jean (Steve) Leick; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nancy; his siblings: Dick (Louise) Weyenberg, Janice (Gene) Minten, and Jim Weyenberg; his parents-in-law, Ralph and Margaret Doering; and his siblings-in-law: Greg Coenen, Dan Lamers, Jim Stepanski, and Ron Doering.

    Services will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, at the Verkuilen Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna location (2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna, WI 54130). A short prayer service will begin at 5:00 p.m., officiated by Deacon Steve Vande Hey. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. The Weyenberg family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Brewster Village and Appleton Medical Center for the exceptional care and compassion shown Chuck over the past several months.
